Are you thankful yet?
Next time you stand in the shower for thirty minute straight, waiting for your almost scolding hot shower water to run all over your body and wake you up, or next time you turn the faucet on, ready to brush your teeth, slowly removing the toothpaste cap, squeezing the great tasting mint paste out of the tube onto you brush, passing the brush under the water just to get it slightly wet, brushing your teeth in four sections and in, at least, the minimum amount of time recommended by the American Dental Association for good buccal health, with the water running all the while, remember this picture:
If nothing else, I hope you feel very blessed or lucky, whichever term suits you best, and don't take your readily available, running, potable, warm or cold at your will, water for granted. In many places, people, most often women and children, have to climb on wells like the one on the picture above to get their water for cleaning, showering and even cooking. Some have to haul theirs home from streams and rivers miles away every day.
Are you thankful yet?
